The Maricopa County Attorney's Office will charge the 14-year-old boy accused of stabbing his aunt to death last week as an adult.
A spokesperson for the attorney's office confirmed Wednesday that Ares Adle would face charges as an adult.
The teen stands accused of stabbing 42-year-old Tonya Harper in the neck early Friday morning.
The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office identified Harper as the victim of the killing Wednesday.
Harper was found dead near Alma School and Chandler Heights Road early Friday morning.
Sheriff's officials confirmed that Adle has been booked into the Lower Buckeye jail.
