ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — An Arizona man has been charged with sexual abuse of a minor, according to documents from the U.S. District Court of New Mexico.
Kenzie Roy Rockmen, 24, who lives in Hunter's Point, Arizona, and 32-year-old Dustin Roy Rockmen, who lives in Navajo, New Mexico, were named in the indictment from U.S. Attorney for the District of New Mexico.
Kenzie Rockmen and Dustin Rockmen are brothers, according to court documents.
Both brothers face multiple charges, including coercion and enticement of a minor, transfer of obscene material to a minor, sexual abuse of a minor and sexual abuse. Dustin Rockmen is also charged with distribution of obscene visual representation of the sexual abuse of a child and possession of child pornography.
Both Dustin Rockmen and Kenzie Rockmen will remain in temporary custody pending a detention hearing, court documents said.
According to the indictment, between Oct. 2020 and Jan. 2022, Dustin Rockmen and Kenzie Rockmen coerced the victim a minor, into engaging in sexual activity with both men by using threats and by placing the victim "in fear for her life." Dustin Rockmen then transferred and distributed obscene material depicting him engaging in sexual activity with the victim, court documents state.
If convicted, the brothers could face up to life in prison.
The Gallup Resident Agency of the FBI Albuquerque Field Office investigated this case with assistance from the Navajo Police Department and the New Mexico Office of the Medical Investigator. Assistant United States Attorney Robert James Booth II is prosecuting the case.
