BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. — A man in Bullhead City was arrested and is facing a murder charge after allegedly stabbing his uncle multiple times, the city's police department said.

Bullhead City police responded to a report of a weapons offense on Saturday at 8:30 p.m. near Ramar Road and Mohave Valley Highway. Police said officers found Steven Anderson, 53, in critical condition after being stabbed multiple times in his upper torso, abdomen and neck area.

Anderson was brought to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center but he did not survive his injuries, officials said.

The suspect, Anderson's 30-year-old nephew Don Kelso, left the area before police officers arrived. On June 30 around 6 a.m., the Fort Mojave Tribal Police Department found Kelso walking in the area of King Street and Highway 95 in Mohave Valley.

Kelso was arrested and is facing a first-degree murder per domestic violence charge, police said.
