PHOENIX — A man was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after being shot in west Phoenix Sunday evening, according to authorities.
The Phoenix Police Department said the shooting happened at around 5 p.m. near Sunridge Park, which is just west of 62nd Avenue and Roosevelt Street.
Officers are looking for a suspect following the shooting. A description of the individual is not available.
"Information provided to officers was limited, but they were told the shooting occurred a distance away from the victim," the department said in a news release.
