Hit-and-run crash leaves 60-year-old pedestrian hospitalized in critical condition, Glendale police say

GLENDALE, Ariz. — A 60-year-old man is in the hospital after he was struck by a car Wednesday morning and Glendale police are looking for the driver that hit him.

The hit-and-run crash happened shortly before 7 a.m. on Wednesday near 45th and Glendale avenues, police said. First responders took him to the hospital in critical condition.

Police said that the driver left the scene of the crash. Their vehicle was described as a White Sedan of unknown make and model that should have damage to the front end.

Investigators are looking for the driver. Anyone with information can leave an anonymous tip through Silent Witness.

Silent Witness: 

Arizona's Silent Witness program allows people to send in tips and share information about crimes happening within their local communities.

Calls to Silent Witness are answered 24/7 by a live person and submitted tips are accepted at all times. Submitted tips are then sent to the detective(s) in charge of the specific case. 

Individuals who submit tips that lead to an arrest or indictment in the case can get a reward of up to $1,000.
