22-year-old man and his stepdad arrested for Buckeye home invasion

The young man and his stepdad are accused of burglarizing a Buckeye home last December and assaulting a resident.

BUCKEYE, Ariz. — A 22-year-old man and his stepfather have been arrested for an alleged home invasion reported last December in Buckeye.

Da Lohn Young and 43-year-old Sennecaa Pentard are facing charges of burglary, aggravated assault and kidnapping after they allegedly broke into a residence near 257th Lane and Globe Avenue.

A resident called Buckeye police on Dec. 14 to report that two armed men had entered their home, assaulted a family member and stole some jewelry. The assaulted victim sustained minor injuries.

A home security system captured the faces of the two suspects, leading investigators to identify them as the stepfather and stepson. Police said Pentard and Young had been traveling between Arizona, Nevada, California and Texas.

The two men were arrested Wednesday after a months-long investigation.
