CHANDLER, Ariz. — A woman and girl are dead in Chandler following an alleged "murder-suicide" incident, according to authorities.
The Chandler Police Department said the incident happened Tuesday before 5:30 p.m. near Ray Road and Priest Drive.

Officers responded after a concerned neighbor called 911 for a welfare check, police said.
"When officers arrived, they found two deceased individuals inside a condominium, an adult female and a female juvenile," police said.
The 49-year-old deceased woman has been identified as the 10-year-old girl's mother, police said.
The mother and daughter were both found in a bedroom alongside a firearm.
The names of the deceased have not been released and the investigation is ongoing.
