CHANDLER, Ariz. — A 19-year-old man has been taken into custody after he allegedly shot his parents in Chandler.

Jeremiah E. Blair is accused of shooting his parents early Monday morning near McQueen and Chandler Heights roads, according to Chandler police.

The parents were taken to the hospital and are in stable condition.

The suspect was allegedly "disappointed" to learn the victims had survived the shooting, records show.

Blair is facing charges of attempted first-degree murder. The incident remains under investigation.
