PHOENIX — A Valley man is fighting for his life in a hospital on Friday night after a shooting, according to Phoenix police.
The department said the shooting happened at about 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of 15th Avenue and Buckeye Road, just southwest of downtown Phoenix.
Several areas near the shooting have been blocked as police investigate the shooting.
Police said they have not had any contact with the suspects and did not release any details about who they are looking for.
No details have been released yet about what led up to the shooting and no one involved has been identified.
