PHOENIX — A public memorial service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. to celebrate the life of Phoenix radio host Super Snake.
The popular Valley DJ passed away on Dec. 30 at the age of 61. He was a familiar figure on the Phoenix airwaves for decades and had been hosting for Hot 97.5 and Hot 103.9.
Super Snake died a day before he was scheduled host the “Super New Year’s Eve Experience” event in Scottsdale.
The celebration of life service will be held at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in downtown Phoenix and attendees are encouraged to dress in vibrant colors to honor Super Snake's memory. Doors open at 10 a.m.
