SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — The Navy needs Maverick. The Kid needs Maverick. And now, the Scottsdale Airport has Maverick — well, "Top Gun: Maverick," the movie, that is!

The Scottsdale Airport is hosting its first-ever movie night on Saturday, April 20. Community members will even be treated to a static plane display and a fire truck presentation to add to the big screen excitement.

“We look forward to welcoming the community to our first movie night at Scottsdale Airport,” Aviation Director Gary Mascaro said. “This is a unique opportunity for families to experience the airport and enjoy a fun evening together.”

Gates open at 6 p.m. and the movie will start at 7:15 p.m. Entry is free, but there are no reservations, so be prepared to "take your breath away" and get there early to snag your spot.

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and your "need for speed" to enjoy the show. Food and drink are available for purchase from the Volanti Restaurant and Lounge.
