Almost There Dog Rescue and Pizza To the Rescue in Phoenix share a parking lot and a love for dogs and pizza. Both are excited for the Vanity Fur, the gala both are hosting in November.

"All proceeds from the Vanity Fur event will support Almost There Rescue's lifesaving work. Our mission is to save mama dogs and puppies, provide care and enrichment, and find loving forever homes," said organizers Joslynn Miller and Tiffany Roschmann.

So far this year they have found homes for more than 400 mamas and pups.

The facility provides safe spaces, veterinary care, and training for this vulnerable population until they are ready to be adopted.

The Vanity Fur will be held at the Wrigley Mansion on Nov. 15

General admission for the event is $200. Sponsorship packages range in price from $2,500 to $20,000.
