Bullhead City and Laughlin, NV., played host to thousands Saturday for the ninth annual River Regatta on the Colorado River. Floaters launched from Davis Camp on the Arizona side and two beach areas in Nevada.
They floated about nine miles down the river to Bullhead City's Rotary Park where they later boarded shuttles back to Laughlin.
A raging wildfire in Mohave Valley had no affect on the regatta.
