City workers see a lot of things, including all type of live and dead animals, reptiles and other critters.
Here in Arizona, it's that time year again when the heat starts to rise and the snakes come out to sun bathe.
Case in point, 12 News viewer captured a large snake slithering up his driveway Thursday captured in the video above.
But for Electric Services Department Workers in North Carolina, they were in for a surprise last week when they went to disconnect power at a house on E. Parker Road.
According to a Facebook post, on the city's government page, workers got quite a surprise when they went to a house scheduled to be demolished. Their mission was to disconnect all power and when they opened the electrical box, they were greeted by two dead snakes that had managed to climb into the box.
One snake slithered across two hot terminals and was electrocuted; the second snake was biting the first and received the jolt as well, the post states.
It took the work of capturing or killing the snakes, but they still had to disconnect the power!
Electric Services Director Brooks Kirby said his guys come across fried snakes every two or three years!
