ATLANTA -- Investigators now know what exactly killed Carlos Walker, also known as Shawty Lo, Wednesday morning.
According to the Fulton County Medical Examiner, Walker's cause of death was "blunt force trauma to the head". The manner of death was deemed accidental.
It will take several weeks for an autopsy to be completed. That autopsy will include a toxicology report that could shed light on whether any substance such as alcohol played a role in the death.

Walker, 40, was killed in a single-vehicle accident around 2:30 a.m. when his 2016 Audi rolled over while on the ramp to Cascade Road coming from I-285 southbound.
The car crashed through a highway guardrail and hit two trees. Walker was ejected from the vehicle, which then caught fire.
Two female passengers, identified as Destini Carter and Deshondria Miller, were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. How the two women knew Walker is unclear.
11Alive spoke with Miller who said that she was doing OK considering everything that's happened. Miller said she has since been released from the hospital and is wearing a neck brace.
