PHOENIX — Billy Joel is playing his first-ever baseball stadium concert at Chase Field Saturday night.
The Arizona Diamondbacks and Live Nation teamed up to bring the "Uptown Girl" musician to downtown Phoenix.
"The Piano Man" will take the stage at Chase Field on March 9.

Doors open at 6 p.m. on Saturday. Make sure to get there as early as possible to avoid potential delays.

Getting to the concert
Chase Field is located at 401 E. Jefferson Street in Phoenix. Here's how to get there:
From North Central Phoenix
Use surface streets, including 7th Avenue, 1st Avenue and 7th Street. Avoid 7th Street if you can because it's usually the most congested.
From the Southeast Valley
Take Interstate 10, continue on Interstate 17 to the 7th Avenue exit, then turn right to go northbound. Continue northbound and turn right at Lincoln Street or Jefferson Street.
You can also use the right three lanes to I-17 at the split and exit to the right on 7th Street, then left at the signal light at Lincoln Street, or continue north on 7th Street to Jefferson Street and turn right to get to the parking facilities east of 7th Street. Remember, you can't turn left from 7th Street onto Washington Street.
From Scottsdale or East Mesa
Take Loop 202 west to I-10 and exit at 3rd Street HOV or 7th Avenue. Turn left on Fillmore, Van Buren or Jefferson Street.
From the Northwest Valley
Take I-17 to the Jefferson Street exit, then turn left and continue eastbound.
From the Northeast Valley
Take State Route 51 to I-10 eastbound, continue to the 7th Avenue exit or 5th Avenue HOV exit. Then turn left on Fillmore, Van Buren, or Jefferson Street.
You can also exit I-10 at Washington Street and turn right, or exit at 7th Street and turn left.
From the West Valley
Take I-10 to the 7th Avenue exit or 5th Avenue HOV exit, then turn right. Turn left on Fillmore, Van Buren or Jefferson Street.
Parking at Chase Field
Concert-goers can purchase parking passes online for parking near Chase Field.
General parking can also be purchased the day of the event and will cost $8-$28, depending on the lot. Drivers will be able to pay for parking with cash or card.
Public transit
Public transportation is encouraged to cut down on traffic congestion, especially with all the events going on in the Valley this weekend.
The closest light rail station is at 3rd Street and Jefferson Street.
The bus lines that stop near Chase Field are 1, 3 and 7.

What is the bag policy at Chase Field?
Large bags or items that exceed 11 inches by 11 inches by 15 inches are not allowed in Chase Field
Chase Field will not hold or store personal items.
What is allowed inside?
Soft coolers that aren't larger than 11 inches by 11 inches by 15 inches are allowed, though any food item should be brought in a clear plastic grocery style bag.
Non-flavored and non-carbonated water in sealed, plastic bottles, sealed, single-serving juice boxes and baby formula are the only beverages allowed. Empty plastic water bottles are also allowed.
Signs and banners are allowed as long as they do not have obscene or political material or block guest views.

- Flags with poles not sold in the team shop or of a non-baseball nature.
