Professional athletes are hard to catch once they're off the court.
But you know Brittney Griner? The WNBA super star that plays center for the Phoenix Mercury?
She spent Thursday in a wet suit.
She, along with fellow Mercury player, guard Alex Harden, went to the local Sea Life Aquarium in Tempe and jumped right in the tank with fish, several types of rays, and yes-- reef sharks.
Griner says she loves sharks and after this she might just upgrade to swimming with bigger ones! She even mentioned she would love to get in the water with a Great White.
Both players seemed right at home in the water. They got the chance to feed the rays, a sea turtle, and the sharks.
One shark even took a little break from swimming and took a seat right on Griner's lap!
