PHOENIX — Skip the slopes and head straight to ski resort-style relaxation!
The Saguaro Summit Ski Lodge is a Winter chalet hideaway with a modern twist that can be found at Kimpton Hotel Palomar in Downtown Phoenix, on Jefferson and 2nd streets. General Manager Devin Mahoney and his staff are crafting up holiday cocktails and even better bites this holiday season.
The pop-up experience will transport guests to an alpine-style luxury lodge immersing visitors in the spirit of après-ski relaxation.
"It’s a unique pop-up bar unlike any other in town, imagine having a ski lodge in the heart of downtown Phoenix, not to mention the desert itself," Mahoney said.
You can find this spot nestled within the hotel's 2nd floor lounge as it becomes a destination for those seeking a winter hideaway in the heart of downtown. There's quite a bit of rustic charm, faux fur throws, vintage ski décor, lounge seating and a specialty menu featured.
"After a day on the slopes, there's nothing quite like leaving the bitter cold behind for the welcoming warmth of a mountain retreat. We want to recreate that feeling in the Valley," Mahoney added.
Additionally, he said, there's an array of custom cocktails designed by the property's talented mixologists, from hot toddies to creative concoctions infused with spices.
No reservations are necessary for the Saguaro Summit Ski Lodge at Kimpton Palomar Phoenix.
