GOODYEAR, Ariz. — Fast food enthusiasts will soon have a new spot to frequent whenever they get hungry.
White Castle announced Wednesday that they will be opening their third Arizona location in Goodyear.
In a release from the hamburger chain, the 3,220-square-foot restaurant will be located near McDowell Road and Bullard Avenue, just north of the I-10. Representatives said the new location will create 50 new jobs.
“The response of Cravers everywhere in the Valley of the Sun has been amazing through our first two openings in Arizona,” said Jamie Richardson, vice president at White Castle. “White Castle has always prioritized hot and tasty affordable food, and we can’t wait to create more memories with this Castle in Goodyear.”
Customers visiting the Goodyear White Castle location will find 52 dining room seats, a covered patio and a double drive-thru, among other features. There will also be some artificial intelligence features at the location including an AI-assisted menu board in the drive-thru. The technology is called “Julia,” named for Julia Joyce, a beloved host at White Castle in the 1930s.
The first White Castle in Arizona opened in Scottsdale in 2019 and the second location debuted in Tempe in 2023. The groundbreaking for the Goodyear spot is expected to happen later this year.
