NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Rumors flew when a video obtained by TMZ showed podcaster Bobbi Althoff being carried out of a sports bar in Nashville, Tennessee by Cardinals cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting earlier this week.
While the video sparked concern and controversy, Althoff took to her Instagram story on Tuesday to put the rumors to rest.
There, she thanked Murphy-Bunting for being a good friend and looking out for her.
"Last night was scary but thankful for having good friends in my life like @seanmurphybunting for looking out for me," the video caption read.
The Cardinals cornerback hasn't made a public statement about the video as of Wednesday morning.
This will be Murphy-Bunting's first season with Cardinals.
