PHOENIX — Meet Neeno and Bella, an adorable pair of elderly dogs that just recently found their home.
Both girls are 12 years old and spend most of their time snuggling together in their bed. Neeno is a pit bull mix and Bella is a Chihuahua. When they're not napping, Bella is usually standing watch on top of Neeno.
The two made a big splash on social media for their sweet demeanor, getting thousands of likes on the Maricopa County Animal Care and Control Instagram.
And good news, the pair was recently adopted together!
Their new owner has a soft spot for senior pets and said that her home has been too quiet since her own Chihuahua passed away.
"Their [former] owner told us they lost their home and could not longer care for them. The pair is clearly bonded and would love to go to a home together to spend their golden years side by side," MCACC spokeswoman Kim Powell said.
