MESA, Ariz. — Another performer was announced Tuesday for TikTok's "In the Mix" concert in Mesa.

Peso Pluma, who has burst into the American music scene with his "Gen Z spin on traditional Mexican music," will join Cardi B, Niall Horan, Charlie Puth and Anitta at Sloan Park in Mesa on Dec. 10 for the concert by the social media company.

"My fans on TikTok have been supportive of my project since day 1, creating millions of videos to my music and always showing me their love. This performance is for them, without my fans I wouldn’t be able to keep doing what I love,” Pluma said.

Over the summer, Pluma released his third album, "Génesis’," and broke a record as the largest streaming week ever for a regional Mexican album. He also surpassed Bad Bunny's record of most simultaneous tracks on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs chart with 25 songs.

"Peso Pluma rose to fame by sharing his music on TikTok, and has since amassed more than 5 million followers and expanded the reach of regional Mexican music," organizers of the concert said in a statement.

The social media company said the concert will be "a first-of-its-kind live global music event" that will be streamed live on TikTok.

"I love TikTok because it allows me to truly connect with the greatest fans in the world on a real level. I can't wait to see y'all in person at TikTok in the Mix," Cardi B said in a statement. "Arizona, get ready to party with me!"

Artists are expected to perform in the round — meaning fans will be seated all around the performers — allowing for an up close experience for those in attendance.

Pre-sale tickets were available exclusively through TikTok. Fans who follow the headline artists received a special code allowing them to buy tickets starting Friday, Oct. 27, at 9 a.m.

Tickets went on general sale starting Thursday, Nov. 2, at 9 a.m.

A portion of the proceeds from concert ticket and merch sales will be donated to Save The Music Foundation, an 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to helping students, schools, and communities reach their full potential through the power of making music.
