From Captain Marvel to Star Wars: Episode IX, there are (again) plenty of sequels and additions to existing universes among 2019’s most anticipated movies.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Scottsdale Airport is ready for takeoff into the holiday season!

The airport is hosting a movie night under the stars on Nov. 23 with a showing of the classic holiday movie "Elf."

“We are excited to welcome the community back for our second movie night at Scottsdale Airport,” Aviation Director Gary P. Mascaro said in a news release. “We heard a lot of positive feedback after our first movie night and knew we needed to provide more opportunities for the community to visit the airport in this unique way.”

Gates will open at 5 p.m. on Nov. 23 and the movie will start at 6 p.m. Moviegoers are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and keep their eyes peeled — Santa is likely to make an appearance!

No pets, outside food or drinks are permitted. Food trucks, beer and wine sales, a plane display, and a fire truck demonstration will be at the movie night.
