As millions watched The Wiz live on NBC, 12 News was in Phoenix with the cast of a local production of the play.
Damon Bolling directed the musical, which ran in September at the Mesa Encore Theatre at the Mesa Arts Center.
Bolling, the actors and others involved with the production laughed, cheered and, of course, sang along with the cast of the NBC broadcast.
