TEMPE, Ariz. — Eat. Drink. Throw.
All the fun and a release of frustration can be had at Lumberjaxes at Tempe Marketplace! We spoke to customers who say this place is a unique concept that allows a peculiar activity.
"Most axe throwing places keep it simple, however, we want our concept to attract the foodies of Arizona," Vinnie Colosimo, who helped open the new location last month, said.
The 13-thousand square foot venue comes complete with a restaurant, bar and sporting area with fun for the whole family. Some say the axe-throwing experience is like no other.
"It's something anyone can enjoy, for any occasion. Like a date night or a big event!" He added.
Plus, their menu has items created specially by Celebrity Chef Matt Hearn, who is always mixing it up in the Tempe restaurant scene.
"I cook everything from scratch, so there's a lot of love behind all our signature dishes," Chef Hearn said.
Hearn said he loves to add twists to traditional dishes.
"In general, we have 'The Little Havana' pizza that is topped with the ingredients you'd find in a Cubano sandwich, it's fan favorite!" Hearn said.
They even have award-winning "chicken benders" you have to try for yourself!
LumberjAxes is located inside Tempe Marketplace District at 2000 E Rio Salado Parkway, #2105, in Tempe. Walk-in open throw sessions are available seven days a week starting at 11 a.m.
