GLENDALE, Ariz. — Great Skate in Glendale is back open after five weeks of renovations closed their doors.
The renovations included adding a brand-new all-wood floor, which Great Skate officials said is the only one in Arizona. The floor was previously concrete at the historic rink.
Great Skate has been around for 41 years and offers skating parties multiple days during the week.
The skating rink is also open every day of the year. For the week of Thanksgiving, they have multiple events, including a Breakfast with Bluey skate and a Taylor Swift skating party.
