PEORIA, Ariz. — It is described as the musical extravaganza you didn't know you needed.
Performers at Theater Works in Peoria are preparing to bring "Something Rotten" to the stage from Feb. 2-18.
The play showcases the lovable but mildly clueless Bottom brothers who are working to curate a plan to dream up the next big stage hit, the world's first musical.
"After an ill-advised trip to see Nostradamus’s food-obsessed nephew, they risk everything to produce what they believe will be the show of the future: the musical!" the show's description reads.
"Something Rotten" combines everything theater lovers like about Broadway, including but not limited to dance numbers, bold costumes, and plenty of shenanigans!
