How did you get started in the art or music world?
I have been involved with music since a very young age. My dad was the drummer in a punk band up until I was about 8 years old, so he has been a big inspiration to me.
How would you describe yourself as an artist?
I’d describe myself as a very emotionally expressive artist. The lyrics that I write are raw and real to myself, all while consisting of content that others can relate to.
What motivates you to create?
Motivation for me can come from anywhere. I write at my highest points, at my lowest points, and everywhere in between. It truly is something that I can start at any time when the inspiration hits.
What was the inspiration behind the piece selected to be featured as an ArtPop?
I was in an interesting place between relationships, and the person I was seeing at the moment told me that they didn’t care for the “fling” that we had and that I shouldn’t either. Little did they know, I cared a lot more about it than even I expected at that point in time.
