PHOENIX — Ivan Hernandez has been named executive news director of KPNX 12News in Phoenix after serving as 12News assistant news director since 2016, the station's GM, Kate Morris, announced Wednesday.
Ivan first joined 12News in 2015 as a senior executive producer. Prior to joining 12News, Ivan was an executive producer for KSAZ FOX 10 Phoenix. Before moving to Phoenix, he spent four years as a special projects producer for Telemundo in Los Angeles.
Ivan has a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University.
Originally from Southern California, Ivan has lived in Arizona for 16 years and now considers the Grand Canyon state his home.
