PHOENIX — A 21-year-old woman died Tuesday night after a crash in north Phoenix, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The crash happened near 19th Avenue and Wahalla Lane around 5:18 p.m. That’s just south of Loop 101 near Deer Valley Park.
A car was making a left turn when a truck slammed into it, Phoenix PD said. Four people were in the car when the crash happened.
All of the occupants of the car were hospitalized, and the woman later died. Both people in the truck were OK, according to Phoenix PD.
Her identity hasn’t been released.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, and police said the road will be closed for several hours.
Police said a third car may have been involved in the crash, and officers are asking for any witnesses to come forward.
