PHOENIX — Calling all thrift store, scavenger hunt and Phoenix Suns fans! The Suns and Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona are partnering for a scavenger hunt that was tailor-made for you.
From Monday, January 8 to Friday, January 12, Goodwill and the Suns will be hosting a scavenger hunt for some autographed Suns merchandise.
The hunt will begin on Monday with five clues posted on the Goodwill Instagram (@goodwillaz) and Facebook (Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona) stories between 8 and 9 a.m. The clues will lead to a voucher for a piece of autographed Suns merchandise, which will be hidden at one of the 104 Goodwill retail stores in central and northern Arizona. On Friday, two vouchers will be hidden at two different stores.
Here are the prizes that fans will be hunting for and when they will be given out.
- Monday, January 8: A signed photo of Devin Booker (found)
- Tuesday, January 9: A Suns hat signed by Kevin Durant
- Wednesday, January 10: A basketball signed by every member of the 2023-24 Phoenix Suns
- Thursday, January 11: A signed Devin Booker jersey
- Friday, January 12: A signed Kevin Durant jersey
- Friday, January 12: A signed Bradley Beal jersey
This is the third time the Suns and Goodwill have partnered for a scavenger hunt.
Last April, they held a scavenger hunt for a golden ticket, which was good for two tickets to Game Two of the Suns' first-round playoff series against the Los Angeles Clippers, which the Suns won 123-109. The golden ticket was hidden at the location in the Talking Stick Pavilions in Scottsdale.
A second scavenger hunt was held for a golden ticket, which was good for two tickets to Game Four of the 2023 Western Conference Semifinals between the Suns and Denver Nuggets last May, which the Suns won 129-124. That golden ticket was found at the Goodwill on John Wayne Parkway in Maricopa.
