YAVAPAI COUNTY, Ariz. — The Yavapai County Sheriff's Office received a call this week from a concerned citizen who believed they may have stumbled upon a horrific scene.

The caller told YCSO he was passing by a short-term rental property and noticed what appeared to be bloody cow carcasses spread out across the yard. The caller presumed the property was perhaps being used as some sort of slaughterhouse.

"It looked very strange," the caller told the sheriff's office, "...it's weird."

A deputy was dispatched to the property and discovered the carcasses were just some skillfully-made props being used for a film project in Prescott.

YCSO warned the community that if anyone else sees these gory props, there's no need to be alarmed since they're not real.
