PHOENIX — Authorities have identified the two workers who died at a construction site after they were trapped under a trench when it collapsed on Thursday.
The Phoenix Fire Department says technical rescue teams were on scene at 107th and Missouri avenues to recover the bodies.
The two men were identified as 36-year-old Alex Quaresma and 33-year-old Rudy Mori.
Phoenix Fire says the two workers were buried in a trench at the housing site.
The Phoenix Police Department said it will be leading the death investigation and it is working with the Arizona Division of Occupational Safety and Health.
