SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Scottsdale police after arrested 38-year-old Matthew Libman in connection to the death of his father, 73-year-old Kip Libman, on Wednesday.
According to police, officers responding to a home after a reported family disturbance call found evidence of a struggle and a dead man, later identified as Kip Libman, inside the home.
Police documents show Matthew Libman had made the call to police, saying his father had pulled a knife on him during a fight.
Matthew Libman was arrested and is being held on suspicion of murder, police say.
He was found outside the house and was compliant with officers, according to police information.
Police documents show Matthew Libman had previously threatened his parents' lives between Dec. 2011 and July 2012.
