PHOENIX - A new grocery store is coming to downtown Phoenix!
A 55,000-square foot Fry's Food grocery store will be built on a vacant parking lot between Washington Street and Jefferson Avenue and First and Second streets.
This will be the first full-service grocery store to come to downtown Phoenix. Fry's also announced that the building could be used for traditional and creative office spaces and residential purposes.
This store will be in between major light rail access points and would also serve the greater downtown Phoenix area, like the historic districts of Garfield, Roosevelt, Grand Avenue, Warehouse, Eastlake Park and more.
It is unknown when the store will open, but Fry's said they will release more information in the coming months.
