MESA, Ariz. — Six people were taken to the hospital after a crash at Country Club Drive and Iron Avenue in Mesa, fire and medical authorities said.
First responders were called to the area near the US 60 for reports that multiple vehicles were involved in a crash and one had caught fire.
The crash reportedly caused a chemical spill from a pool truck that was involved.
Crews from Mesa, Gilbert and Tempe fire and medical have responded to the crash.
The overpass on Country Club Drive is closed due to the crash.
