PHOENIX — A man is in critical condition after he was rescued Thursday morning from a six-foot-deep hole in north Phoenix, officials said.
Daisy Mountain Fire and Rescue was dispatched to a location near 14th Avenue and New River Road for reports of a man trapped in a confined space. Crews managed to remove him out of the hole and transported him to the hospital.
Firefighters said it's unknown whether the incident was an accident or the result of some sort of medical emergency.
