SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — A man was arrested Tuesday night after he allegedly stabbed two women at a Scottsdale home.
The Scottsdale Police Department said 33-year-old Roy Hayden Aja attacked the two women inside the home near 64th Street and Thomas Road around 8:40 p.m.
He allegedly attacked the women without provocation. Police said he has a history of mental illness.
The women, one who is Aja's sister and the other who is a friend, were taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Aja was taken into custody without incident.
He was held on multiple counts of aggravated assault.
