PHOENIX — Fourteen years after the murders of her daughter and her pregnant roommate, an Arizona mother continues to seek answers and justice for her loved ones.
Rachel Glass has not given up hope in solving the 2010 murders of her daughter Nicole Glass and Melissa Mason, who was eight weeks pregnant at the time of her death.
The 27-year-old women were found strangled in their home near 42nd Street and Cambridge Avenue in Phoenix.
Despite years of investigation, the case remains unsolved.
"I can't lose hope," Glass said. "If you don't have hope, you don't have anything."
Silent Witness is offering an $8,700 reward for information leading to an arrest. Investigators have reviewed multiple tips but believe additional community input could be crucial to solving the case.
"All the DNA is there. The evidence is there," Sgt. Brian Bauer with the Phoenix Police Department said. "It's just a matter of having that little bit of information that somebody might know to help us reach a different angle."
Glass noted the unsolved murders have left a profound impact on the victims' families and expressed the emotional toll this has taken on her life.
"She was a big part of my life," Glass said. "It's just heartbreaking that I don't have those moments — no wedding, no grandchildren."
