PAYSON, Ariz. — State Route 87 has reopened early Friday morning after a semi-fire closed the highway
between the Valley and Payson, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT).
The fire was burning near milepost 212, ADOT said.

ADOT said drivers should expect delays and look for an alternate route.
The fire sparked a brush fire in the area.
