Knierims share sweet Valentine's Day moment after short program skate

Chris gave Alexa a paper heart that read: "Will you (still) be mine?"

Tucson native Chris Knierim is quite the romantic, even in the midst of competition.

Chris Knierim and Alexa Scimeca Knierim celebrated Valentine's Day on the ice competing in the pairs short program at the PyeongChang Winter Olympics.

After their skate, Chris appeared to surprise his lifelong valentine with an adorable Valentine's Day gift: A teddy bear and paper heart.

Chris and Alexa currently sit in 14th place heading into the free skate tomorrow.
