Don’t worry Red Sea, Roker wasn’t breaking a change of heart from the Cardinals receiver, he was simply mistaken.
Roker was quick to post a follow up tweet to correct his error and calm the nerves of fans everywhere.
Obviously, I do Weather and not sports. I was told he was a former player. Sorry @LarryFitzgerald if I retired you early. pic.twitter.com/yXcvN9USCS

“Obviously, I do weather, not sports,” the tweet read.
Fitzgerald was in South Korea to catch the final week of Olympics competition.
So take a deep breath Cards fans, Fitz will still be back in 2018.
