GLENDALE, Ariz. — A man is dead after being found unresponsive in a backyard pool in Glendale, authorities said.
The Phoenix and Glendale fire departments responded to reports of an elderly man who was found unresponsive in a backyard pool on Sunday morning.
It is unknown how long the man had been unresponsive before the 911 call, authorities said.
When initial responding crews made contact with the man, he was found to be beyond resuscitative efforts.
The Phoenix Police Department will be investigating the incident.
