Talking Stick Resort postpones concerts into September for storm damage

Talking Stick said that performances including Zedd and Daughtry are being postponed and ticket holders will be notified when the events have been rescheduled.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Talking Stick Resort announced that is now postponing and rescheduling concerts scheduled for September due to clean-up from a massive monsoon storm earlier this month.

The resort and casino was initially set to reopen Sunday but it announced on Friday that more time was needed to repair damages from storm. The resort did not give a new reopen date.

Talking Stick said Monday that the following performances are being postponed and ticket holders will be notified when the events have been rescheduled.

8/11/18 – JAUZ

8/18/18 – 3LAU

8/24/18 – Terry Fator

9/1/18 – DJ Diesel

8/2/18 – Zedd

9/7/18 – Burton Cummings

9/8/18 – Daughtry

Additionally, the resort said the KMLE 8 Man Jam 2018 will now be held at Casino Arizona on Aug. 28 at 6 p.m.

Hundreds of people were evacuated after storm on the night of Aug. 10 had knocked out power and caused extensive damage.

Talking Stick said that if ticket holders prefer, refunds are available through the date of purchase. Anyone with questions is asked to contact the box office at 480-850-7734.
