PHOENIX — After years on the market and at least a few price cuts Arizona Diamondbacks legend and baseball Hall Famer Randy Johnson's massive Paradise Valley mansion is finally off the market.

The home sold at auction for $7.3 million and closed toward the beginning of March, according to property records and a Facebook post from Launch Real Estate.

Robert Joffe, the listing agent, confirmed the closure to 12 News, but said they're not able to discuss the buyer.

Joffe said the buyer bought the home in a Delaware LLC.

Maricopa County property records show the deed for the home was transferred to Mummy Mountain 19 LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. The records list the company with a Phoenix mail address under the property's owner information.

The last deed date, according to the records, was March 5.

According to the Arizona Republic's Catherine Reagor, public figures or business people using Delware LLC's to buy luxury homes in the Valley is not uncommon. Michael Phelps, Alicia Keys and Sarah Palin are among those who have done it.
