PHOENIX — Several buildings inside a condominium complex in Phoenix were destroyed overnight. Phoenix Fire spokesman Captain Jake Van Hook says the fire had 30-foot flames when crews arrived on the scene near 27th Street and Glenrosa Avenue.
Van Hook says multiple buildings with narrow driveways were a challenge for firefighters to get to the fire.
Firefighters determined no one was inside the condo units. A nearby apartment complex was evacuated while crews worked to contain the blaze.
Van Hook says there were no injuries to fire crews or civilians. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
