A toddler has died in a drowning in Goodyear, Arizona.
The 2-year-old girl was taken to the hospital in "respiratory arrest" after the incident, according to Ed Pahl with the Goodyear Fire Department.
The girl died at Abrazo West Hospital, according to Lieutenant Scott T. Benson with the Goodyear Police Department.
Sky 12 showed police vehicles in front of a home with at pool in the backyard.
The incident happened Thursday evening.
Goodyear police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
