Sedona artist Doug Andrews has been painting and creating art for decades. He once sold his masterpieces in galleries in Sedona but some of his latest creations are on a much larger scale. He went from canvas to cribs!
One day, he put down the paint brush and started scribbling a home on a paper bag.
That sketch is now a 2,800 square-foot Sedona sanctuary called Nature's Inn.
The moment you walk inside this crazy cool crib, it's as if you walked outside. You'll be greeted by an oasis of lush plants, a koi pond and living vines that stretch up to the ceiling and extend into the upstairs bedrooms.
A walkway dotted with colorful bottle bottoms leads you to the luscious lawn roof with a 360-degree view of the surrounding red rocks.

Doug has dreamed up and built several more homes, including Nature's Inn II, which features a swimming koi pond, a vibrant wildflower garden and indoor and outdoor swinging beds.
Inside the home looks like an art gallery. You could say home is where the art is for Doug! He made much of the decor and furniture with natural resources from the surrounding area. A burnt-out tree trunk from the Slide Fire, for example, sits in the family room displaying even more art.
