LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. - A body of a man who went underwater while swimming in Lake Havasu this weekend has been found, the Mohave County Sheriff Office said Tuesday.

According to the sheriff's office, a boater saw the body floating in the North Basin Tuesday morning. Deputies confirmed the drowned swimmer was 45-year-old Rosario Carreon of Phoenix.

MCSO says Carreon jumped from a pontoon boat to go for a swim Saturday in the North Basin. He was not wearing a life jacket, began to struggle and then went underwater.

Authorities searched for Carreon each day but large waves and high winds made the search difficult.
