PINAL COUNTY, Ariz. — While out searching for a missing man on Saturday afternoon, Pinal County Deputies found a dead body and are now investigating to see if it is the man they are looking for, according to the Pinal County Sheriff's Office.
PCSO told 12News that deputies were in Eloy, near the intersection of Sommerfield and Lamb roads on Saturday looking for 62-year-old Monty Reuling, a man who has been missing since Aug. 26.
At about 1:15 p.m., deputies found a dead body in an irrigation canal in that area.
The body has been handed over to the Pinal County Medical Examiner's Office, which will perform an investigation to confirm the man's identity and determine how exactly he died.
This is a developing story and more details will be added as they are made available.
